  • Please print out the production draft such as flow chart. Or else, we need to look at the computers meaning we all stay at our seats. I prefer to look at material that we are discussing rather than talking without visual reference.

Project Progress MM2213 after week 2 class meeting.


 There are 3 sections in this blog.
1.Following is my wave to team member. ( attachment to team members are not able to open in blog. I will show those to you in class)

    Hey guys, I have the following files created.

    3. Xcel for check list of each task. I had updated information up to including wave I had on 4/13 3.15pm. Will update as I see more progress.
    Our meeting should be held in organizing manner. As project manager, I honor to regulate the meeting. therefore presenter can have 5-10 minutes for presentation. Each member will have 1 minute to throw out what he/she thinks about the material presented. A vote may be held for any decision if necessary. For the coming meeting, 4/19,

Discussion:
1. We are going to build a website about food and specific talking about garlic.
            The garlic topic would be a) recipe, b) benefit of garlic c) vegetarian d) cusins d) budget for cooking garlic.

2. Technical team, Osacar, Jenna, Ian will come up with a list of technical issues to research for.
3. Content editor works with Instructional Designer and Art Director in relation to drafting of site image and logo.

MM2213 Project Manager 's budget and plan


Role as Project Manager:
·      Set time schedule, budget, task designation, progress documentation.
Start up information:

·      Research for content   wk 2-3
·      Layout and design       wk 4-5
·      Implementation           wk6-7
·      Testing                       wk 8-9
·      Delivery – plan for presentation    wk10


Project requirement:
Site support: browser such as Chrom, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Explorer
Bandwidth : Ethernet, ISDN, Modem.
Feature: Plug-in, Security, Linux, Unix or Microsoft server.
Interface with user: form, emails, chat room, upload, download.
Database: query, filter for data retrieval

Roles:
2 Content – information and classification of data.
1 Design -  design wire frame, navigation, graphic , link, audience.
1 Technical– research information about security, upload, download, sound, video formats for application to the site.
1 Production – build the HTML, CSS, Script and construction of the site.
1 Editor – test run on browsers, overall checking on spelling alt-text, meta, and search engine friendly implementation.
1 Project Manager – Oversee Progress and  project co-ordination and performance evaluation.

Time  for production: 9 weeks
